7-Seater Family Car Rental Morocco: The 2026 Honest Guide (Agadir Airport)
A 7-seater family car rental in Morocco at €35/day is the most economical way to move 4–6 people across the country. For a family of five flying into Agadir Al Massira airport, that works out to €7 per person per day — cheaper than the CTM bus, cheaper than the train, and you get the flexibility to leave when you want, stop at a roadside café, change plans on the suggestion of someone who lives there.
What You Get at €35/Day
The 7-seater family car from €35/day package at Euromotion includes:
- The car itself — Dacia Logan MCV, VW Caddy, Citroën Berlingo, or similar 7-seat MPV. Diesel, manual (automatic on request). Air conditioning. Seven full-size seats.
- Third-party insurance — included.
- Unlimited mileage — drive Agadir → Marrakech → Sahara → back with no per-km charge.
- Airport meet-and-greet at AGA — included.
- €0 deposit — nothing frozen on your card.
- Child seats free on request (infant, toddler, booster — specify age + weight at booking).
- Roof racks free on request (5+ day rentals).
- WhatsApp support in EN/FR/AR, 24/7.
Total for a 14-day family trip: 14 × €35 = €490. Or €98 per person across a family of five.
Luggage Capacity, Honestly
All 7 seats up: Boot fits 2–3 medium suitcases + carry-ons. Roof racks add 2 more large suitcases.
Third row folded down (families of 4): Boot fits 5–6 large suitcases or any combination.
Realistic scenario — family of 5, 14-day trip: keep third row up for kids, 3 large suitcases in boot, 2 on roof racks (free). All carry-ons inside the cabin. Comfortable.
The €0 Deposit Matters More for Families
A €500–€1,500 deposit hold is annoying for a couple. For a family of 5 with shared finances:
- The card paying for the rental is also paying for hotels, restaurants, attractions, and unexpected expenses.
- A €1,200 hold on a €5,000-limit card consumes 24% of available credit during the rental.
- On day 6, the family-sized restaurant bill gets declined.
- The hold doesn't release until 5–30 days after car return.
We hold zero. You pay the rental amount and that's the end of the transaction. For the full model, read the no-deposit guide for foreigners and rent without a credit card.
Child Seats — What the Law Says, What We Provide
Moroccan law (2026): Children under 10 years OR under 135 cm must use an appropriate child restraint. Children under 3 years: rear-facing infant or convertible seat required.
We provide three types of child seats free of charge:
- Infant seat (0–13 kg, ~0–15 months): rear-facing, ISOFIX or seatbelt.
- Toddler seat (9–18 kg, ~9 months–4 years): forward-facing with 5-point harness.
- Booster seat (15–36 kg, ~4–12 years): with adult seatbelt.
Request at booking with the child's age and weight. We bring them ready-fitted to the car. If you're bringing your own car seat from home: fine, tell us so we don't bring a duplicate.
Where the 7-Seater Is Great
- On the A7 autoroute (Agadir ↔ Marrakech ↔ Casablanca). Stable, comfortable, A/C works well. See Agadir to Marrakech by car.
- Atlas mountains via Tizi n'Tichka. The road was rebuilt in 2019 — the 7-seater handles it well, just plan extra time at viewpoints. See the Atlas mountains drive guide.
- Sahara asphalt routes. Agadir → Marrakech → Ouarzazate → Zagora or Merzouga. All paved and comfortable in the 7-seater.
- Coastal road Agadir → Essaouira (N1). Easy, family-friendly stops every 30 minutes.
Where the 7-Seater Is More Cumbersome
- Medina parking in Fez, Marrakech, or Essaouira. Use the designated tourist lots, not the medina entrance.
- Mountain switchback villages. The longer wheelbase makes hairpin turns slower. Doable but slow.
- Single-track dirt roads. Take the SUV instead if your trip includes much off-asphalt.
Total Trip Cost — Family of 5, 14 Days
| Item | Cost |
|---|---|
| 7-seater rental (14 days × €35) | €490 |
| Fuel (~1,500 km) | €180 |
| Tolls (A7 × 2 round trips) | €35 |
| Child seats (×2) | €0 (free) |
| Roof racks | €0 (free) |
| Optional CDW (14 days × €10) | €140 |
| Subtotal car costs | €845 |
For the same family via taxis, trains, and grands-taxis: easily €1,500+ and with significant flexibility loss.
What You Absolutely Don't Need
- A car seat from home (unless you specifically want yours).
- A credit card — €0 deposit, no card on file.
- An International Driving Permit — your home licence is valid.
- Two cars for a family of 5–6 — the 7-seater fits in one.
- A 4×4 unless you specifically plan deep off-road.
